BTS’ rapper and lead dancer, J-Hope, who shook the world with the seldom release of his much awaited mixtape has dropped yet another bomb. Following “Daydream”, the artist has released the music video for his single “Airplane”.

The single showcases J-Hope’s skill as a musician. The title “Airplane” is both an object as well as a metaphor. The song talks about artist’s desires and the fulfillment of each dream is signified with a trip in an airplane. The object of flight does not merely conveys height but also a distance from unwanted concerns, something BTS have been talking about.

Directed by Woogie Kim and produced by GDW, the music video for “Airplane” is nothing less than phenomenal. Adopting literal presentation, the larger than life background of airports silhouette well with J-Hope’s metaphorical language.

J-Hope mixtape “Hope World” is out now.
