As it was reported earlier in the week, it was rumored that Jason Ritter and his girlfriend, Melanie Lynskey, welcomed their baby into the world, and it turns out the speculation was justified. According to a report from Us Weekly, Jason and his girl officially welcomed a baby into the world – albeit discreetly.
The 38-year-old actor and 41-year-old actress did not announce the news, but the outlet confirmed they had given birth to their first baby as a couple. Thus far, the child’s name hasn’t been revealed to any media outlet, but it’s only a matter of time.

In addition to Jason’s co-worker posting about it on the ‘Gram, an onlooker recently spotted Ritter and Lynskey with their baby girl on the 26th of January, Saturday. As fans of the couple know, Ritter and Melanie announced their engagement back in February 2017 in an interview with Hollywood Today Live.
The Two and A Half Men star said during the chat, “now, he’s my fiancé,” and then went on to say, “yes, I know, I’m announcing it.” Even though the couple has kept details relatively quiet, they have gushed about each other’s respective careers on Twitter before.
Recently, Ritter encouraged his fans and followers to watch Melanie’s latest movie, describing it as “beautiful.” Ritter is just one son belonging to the deceased actor, John, who died tragically at the age of 54-years-old in 2003.
One of the last films Ritter starred in was the cult classic starring Billy Bob Thornton and Bernie Mac, Bad Santa, in which Ritter played an overly sensitive mall manager who has difficulty adjusting to Billy Bob and his partner’s bizarre behavior.

Melanie, on the other hand, is most known for her classic role in Two and a Half Men starring Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer. Melanie played Charlie’s stalker-love interest, who randomly shows up to his apartment announced by climbing over the ledge.
